Your Initial Assessment (30 Minutes)
Conducted by an expert Clinical Pharmacist or Consultant in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Obesity Medicine.
The initial consultation includes:
Comprehensive medical history and medication review
Blood pressure assessment
Assessment of eligibility for treatment with Mounjaro (tirzepatide) or Wegovy/Ozempic (semaglutide)
Lifestyle and dietary assessment
Education on medication, injection technique and side-effect management
Initial prescription (where clinically appropriate)
Weight, BMI and waist circumference measurements
Body composition analysis (where available)
Review of previous weight loss attempts
Discussion of treatment goals and expected outcomes
Development of an individualised treatment plan
Complimentary Follow-up Reviews
All follow-up appointments are included throughout treatment at no additional consultation charge. Patients are encouraged to attend whenever they require clinical advice or support.
Week 2 Follow-up (20 Minutes)
- Review of treatment progress
- Assessment of any side effects
- Injection technique review
- Dietary and hydration advice
- Medication adherence
- Opportunity to ask questions and address concerns
Monthly Clinical Reviews (10 Minutes)
Scheduled every four weeks throughout treatment.
Each appointment includes:
- Weight and BMI review
- Blood pressure monitoring (where appropriate)
- Progress towards treatment goals
- Review of medication effectiveness
- Assessment of side effects
- Dose escalation or adjustment where clinically appropriate
- Lifestyle and dietary review
- Ongoing motivation and behavioural support
- Repeat prescription where appropriate
Additional Complimentary Follow-up Appointments (10 Minutes)
Patients may book additional 10-minute follow-up appointments during treatment whenever clinically required.
These reviews may include:
- Side-effect management
- Injection technique support
- Missed dose advice
- Plateau in weight loss
- Medication queries
- Dietary concerns
- Travel advice
- Ongoing motivation and adherence support
- Review of any new medical conditions or medications
Appointments may be provided in person, by telephone, or via video consultation, depending on the patient’s needs and clinical circumstances.
