General Questions

How quickly will I see results?

Results vary by individual and the program you choose. With our Medical Weight Loss Program, many clients notice reduced appetite and initial weight loss within the first 1–2 weeks. With the Nutrition & Diet Planning Program, steady progress of 1–2 lbs per week is typical. We focus on sustainable, healthy rates of loss – not quick fixes.

Are your programs safe?

Absolutely. Both programs are medically supervised – the Nutrition program by a qualified dietician and the Medical program by a pharmacist. We use only evidence-based, MHRA-approved methods and medications. Your safety is reviewed at every stage, from the initial consultation through monthly follow-ups.

Do you accept insurance?

We recommend checking with your private health insurance provider directly, as coverage for weight loss services varies by policy. We can provide you with a receipt or invoice to submit for potential reimbursement. Our team is happy to help with any information you need.

What if I have a medical condition?

Many of our clients have underlying conditions such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or thyroid issues. During your initial consultation, we’ll review your full medical history. Our pharmacist and dietician work alongside your existing healthcare team to ensure any program we recommend is safe and appropriate for you.

Medical Weight Loss Program

Who is eligible for the Medical Weight Loss Program?

To qualify, you must be 18 years or older with a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight-related condition (e.g., high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, sleep apnoea, or cardiovascular disease).

What medication do you use?

We use MHRA-approved medications, including Mounjaro (tirzepatide). All medications are prescribed by our pharmacist following a thorough clinical assessment.

Are there any side effects?

As with any medication, some people may experience mild side effects, most commonly nausea, diarrhoea, or constipation, especially when starting or adjusting a dose. These usually settle over time. We’ll discuss all potential side effects during your consultation and monitor you closely at monthly follow-ups.

How long do I need to stay on the medication?

Treatment duration varies. Many clients use the medication for 6–12 months to reach their goal weight, followed by a structured maintenance plan to help keep the weight off. We’ll work with you to find the right timeline.

Nutrition & Diet Planning Program

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No referral is needed. You can book directly with us.

Is this program just a meal plan?

No, it’s much more. You’ll receive a fully personalised meal plan, but also metabolic testing, ongoing dietician support, and lifestyle coaching. We focus on building habits that last.

Can I do this program alongside the Medical program?

Yes. Many clients combine both – using medication for appetite support while working with our dietician to build healthy eating habits. This integrated approach often delivers the best long-term results.

Consultations & Bookings

How do I book my consultation?

You can book online through our bookings page or call us directly. Your first consultation is completely free with no obligation.

What happens during the consultation?

We’ll review your health history, take key measurements (weight, height, BMI), discuss your goals, and explain which program(s) may be right for you. You’ll leave with a clear plan.

Is the consultation in person or online?

We offer both. Many clients prefer an in-person visit for body composition analysis, but we can also conduct initial consultations via video call if that works better for you.

Pricing & Follow-ups

How much does each program cost?

Pricing depends on the program and level of support you choose. We keep our fees transparent and competitive for the North-East. Please contact us or book a free consultation for a detailed breakdown.

Do I need to commit to a minimum term?

No. You’re never locked into a long-term contract. We offer monthly follow-ups, and you can stop at any time.

How often will I be seen?

For the Medical program, you’ll have monthly follow-ups with our pharmacist to monitor progress and receive your next medication supply. For the Nutrition program, follow-ups are typically every 2–4 weeks, depending on your needs.
